Meet meat meat AKA Matilda. Shannon is an amazing friend/co-worker of mine at lululemon athletica. Shannon rescued her beautiful boxer/bulldog mix awhile ago. Her dog truly has the sweetest personality and is such a love. Shannon recently found out that Matilda has terminal brain cancer. The tumor is inoperable and they are not sure how much time they have left with her. I approached her with the idea of capturing some photos of her and her precious girl while they still could. I was so grateful for this experience because it is always a lovely feeling to see the connection that a dog and its owner has. Thanks Shannon. We love you meat meat:)

Braden and I go way back with the Irving family! Braden has been friends with Dave for a very long time! I was so excited when we were asked to shoot their family. They just had their first daughter Elsie. She is SOOOOO cute. The weather was gorgeous for the shoot. Again, I can not get enough of that crisp fall air in Utah. Everything glows golden. Anyway, thanks for a great shoot!

I can not believe it is that time of year already! Christmas is just around the corner. I have been up in Utah for the past week for a vacation/ photo session trip. I think that I picked the perfect time of year to come. All of the leaves are a rich golden color. I can't get enough of that fall air. I am just about to hop on the plane to come back to sunny california (I hear its HOT), which I am not too excited about. I do look forward to seeing my three boys (my husband and 2 doggies)! I thought I would share my families Christmas card that I just snapped. The picture is missing my little brother who is on a mission for the church as well as Braden and myself. Happy holidays!

Our good friends just had their amazingly beautiful girl, Violet. I was just at her baby shower two days before mommy went into labor. Come to find out, her water was actually torn at the shower!! She ended up delivering her safely two days after! Good timing on the shower. Clark and Moranda did not know what the sex of their baby would be. We all guessed differently but they could not be more happy with their perfect baby girl. Because they did not know the sex they just called the baby pumpkin, hence the pumpkin outfit, which is perfect for this halloween season! Way to go Clark and Moranda, you make beautiful babies!!

I had an AMAZING time photographing the Clayton family! They were so full of energy, especially the little ones. I made the mistake of saying that the kiddies would get popcorn if they stuck to the shoot until the end....bad idea! Every five seconds they asked about the popcorn. It was very entertaining! I love shooting a family that has so much class, style and character. We shot at the beautiful Newport Beach Marriott Villas and we lucked out on weather! Thanks Claytons for giving me the chance to spend some time with your gorgeous family.
