This past week I was able to scramble home back to Utah for Christmas. My sister McCall made my parents the most amazing 20 min video of images from past to present of all of us kids. After watching it I realized where my love of photography came from. My mother (hence why all of the pictures are of me and my dad). She is an amazing photographer. I went through my childhood photos and found a few that are my favorite. The composition, depth of field, color and balance are wonderful (in my opinion). She really knows how to catch a moment. If I ever need inspiration for a shoot I like to look back on my old photographs. It usually works. I was so grateful to come across these photos again. I am also grateful to have such an amazing family to share the memories with. Happy new year everybody. Cheers

I have known these guys for some time. I was super excited when they asked me to shoot their family photos. They informed me that they have not had their pictures taken since their engagement 7 years ago!!! It was about time. They are such awesome people and so fun to photograph. They both have amazing style. Their dogs are SOOOO adorable. Bear (the black portie) has so much personality. He has a crazy obsession with his "bumper toy".  "B-boo", the white fluff ball was super mellow and has a bigger fluffier head than her entire body! Thanks guys for allowing me the opportunity of hanging out with you!

Remember that darling family in the orange grove? That would be the Williams family 1 year older!! I was so honored and excited when they asked me to shoot their family pictures this year for the second time!! The Williams family have the MOST amazing children, which sure says something about the parents right? They wanted a relaxed backdrop so we decided to shoot around Balboa area. The day was beautiful and the shoot went perfect! Thanks Williams family.

Meet meat meat AKA Matilda. Shannon is an amazing friend/co-worker of mine at lululemon athletica. Shannon rescued her beautiful boxer/bulldog mix awhile ago. Her dog truly has the sweetest personality and is such a love. Shannon recently found out that Matilda has terminal brain cancer. The tumor is inoperable and they are not sure how much time they have left with her. I approached her with the idea of capturing some photos of her and her precious girl while they still could. I was so grateful for this experience because it is always a lovely feeling to see the connection that a dog and its owner has. Thanks Shannon. We love you meat meat:)

Braden and I go way back with the Irving family! Braden has been friends with Dave for a very long time! I was so excited when we were asked to shoot their family. They just had their first daughter Elsie. She is SOOOOO cute. The weather was gorgeous for the shoot. Again, I can not get enough of that crisp fall air in Utah. Everything glows golden. Anyway, thanks for a great shoot!
